Tourist arrivals in Slovenia jumped by 10.6% year-on-year to 1,163 million in July 2026, the highest level since August 2025, following a 1.9% rise in the previous month. Foreign tourist arrivals rose by 10.9% to 1,014 million, with visitors mainly coming from Czech Republic (24.0%), Poland (18.5%), Germany (14.0%), Hungary (11.0%), and the Netherlands (5.2%). Moreover, domestic tourism grew by 8.9% to 148.9 thousand. Overnight stays went up by 8.9% to 3,256 million, with most tourists staying in the mountain resorts (13.8%), urban municipalities (10.5%), the capital (7.5%), and other municipalities (9.4%). For the January–July period, tourist arrivals increased by 6.6% year-on-year to 4,104.6 million, while overnight stays rose by 6.6% to 10,541.2 million.
