China’s annual inflation rate surged to 0.7% in November 2025 from 0.2% in the previous month, aligning with market consensus and marking the highest level since February 2024. On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.1%, missing forecasts for a 0.2% rise and reversing October’s reading, marking the first decline in five months.
